Description
Pecorino Romano is a hard, cooked cheese made with fresh whole sheep's milk, curdled with lamb rennet. The paste is white, compact and slightly open. The taste of the cheese is aromatic, slightly spicy and savoury in the table cheese.
Authentically produced with ewe's milk, creating a white, raw, and compact texture adorned with sparse eyes.
A cheese with a fragrant aroma and a piquant flavour, enhanced by a minimum 36% fat content in dry matter.
The salty milkiness imparts a delightful umami flavour when grated or incorporated into dishes like pizza, pasta, salads, soups, and more.
